Thank you for your interest in volunteering at The People’s Harm Reduction Alliance (PHRA). It is the hard work of volunteers like yourself that has allowed PHRA to improve the health of our community and protect the human rights of those who use drugs. We are committed to providing wrap-around harm reduction services. We provide safer drug use supplies, and work to help all meet their needs in accessing food, shelter, support, and safe spaces. Our volunteers include current users, former users, and non-users alike. We do not discriminate against anyone because of current or past drug use. PHRA considers the experiences and expertise of the drug user community extremely valuable. If you do not believe you would be comfortable working with and among drug users, we advise that you serve at another organization. At PHRA, we have a variety of ways to accommodate each person's unique skills, experiences, and access needs. We hope all feel welcome and supported.
